Organic Bellota (Sweet) Acorns

Little known in Northern Europe, Bellotas are considered a delicacy in Iberia. These huge acorns have the taste and texture of chestnuts. but can be eaten raw by simply breaking the shell by hand or they can be roasted. They must be eaten fresh (like chestnuts) and they are both nutritious and delicious. A wonderful wintertime and Christmas delicacy.
