Acinipo (Lemberger) 2002
The "flagship" of Bodega F. Schatz, the Acinipo is aged in new French Oak barrels for 13 months, and the Acinipo 2002, is a most superior wine. The Acinipo of Bodega F. Schatz has won many awards over the years and is highly valued for its rich colour, smooth taste and fruity aroma.
Acinipo takes it name from Iberian word "Land of Wines". The Bodega of F.Schatz is located close to the spectular Roman ampitheatre of Ronda la Vieja.

COLOUR Intense ruby with violet rim.
NOSE Balsamic, sharp, intense red fruits fragrance, scrubland (fennel, rosemary).
MOUTH Silky in the mouth, integrated wood, red fruit, high roast touch (coffee, cacao), long and clean aftertaste. Ageing on natural fine lees, which is raised at regular intervals during a period of time (between 2 - 6 months).
CLIMATIC Year of very low rains and mild in temperatures. Very high temperatures in every month, with a maximum average temperature of 23.3 C in July. Some days the temperatures raised 47 C. Very soft winter with just a few frost in December and January. A contrast of extreme temperatures (maximum 47.9 C minimum 11.6 C = 36.3 C of difference) in July. Most important rains during the equinoxes, being autumn the most important one, followed by the spring.
