Olives Aloreña

The Olives of Alhaurín El Grande are unique. Recently awarded the DO status (Denominacion of Origin), this Manzanilla olive type have a small stone and a lot of flesh. They only exist in the area around the small town of Alhaurin el Grande in Malága province. They are delicious!

Our Aloreña olives are hand picked and prepared in the traditional way, split with a wooden mallet, then soaked in pure water, sea salt and a marinate of organic garlic and herbs. The process is slow but produces an olive of superb quality and authentic taste.

Alhaurín El Grande is an old Arab town and preserves it pretty character to this day. The olives of Alhaurín El Grande have been a delicacy for centuries. Now, Cornelio works together with a traditional Aloreña olive producer, a certified organic olive farm, to produce a limited quantity of these "hand-made" table olives.
